This is a very, very, very corrupt system. There are judges who are very bias & they are well know to not follow the laws but yet they still sit up on that bench & get away with it all. Hearsay is not proof but yet they allow it even if it's ALL lies & it's against the law. They remove children from good, caring, loving homes with no physical proof whatsoever & they place them in homes with vicious drug addicts & alcoholics. SOMETHING REALLY NEEDS TO BE DONE & DONE NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!
Prepare to wait. Prepare to be sent from one floor or desk to the next and back again. Rude staff either won’t answer questions “this is the right paper I’m filing, right?” Or they give wrong information, “ Yes, I am sure your case is still on this morning at 11am courtroom 7G,” or my very favorite “I can’t help you, I’m not a lawyer.” In fact, once, I was being bullied by opposing to incidentally sign some papers against my will –the Judge had the nerve to say that very thing to me!
It is staffed with a multitude malfunctioning robots, with other malfunctioning robots scrambling like rats on a feeding frenzy. Citizens are at the mercy of whim, and !wham!
Beware: Once you get in, you can’t get out.
No one answered the phone nor any questions nor concerns we may have. The court system have to get more people educated and responsible enough to fill the job requirements. And willing to give the right information and resources.
This is the Philadelphia destroys-your-family Court.
I've dealt with 3 different states with child support and believe me they are way more attentive, timely, and fair than most states. I appreciate the work they do for my family.
Workers are very rude. They treat you like your a dead beat and a criminal. The system is a total failure. They take wayyy too much from you then tell you find another way to live. The whole system needs to be revised. Workers and judges need to be fired.
Sheesh. Another of the judges who presided on my custody case was fired shortly thereafter (along with a second Philadelphia Family Court judge) for ethics violations (12/2016).
Horrible Horrible Horrible. The system is completely corrupt. Philadelphia Family Court totally destroyed my family. You got money? You win!
