Olney high..what you thinking about..year 1968..people were coming of age..afro Bush..in high school..home of undiscovered countries..like Vietnam and California and John mayall .playing the blues..student movements..and being cool..From west Oak lane..bottomside..Peace

This school is TRASHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH. They make you wear them Nut A** slacks , and complain about having all black shoes , CARMAN be too hype to send people home and them have you sit in this special a** room to get a No uniform pass , for like 30 minute missing First period , They alsoooooooooo like to just send people making them miss out on they Education...

This is by far one of the worst schools in Philly. The food is awful, the rules are overly strict, and a good portion of the staff are disrespectful. It took me a year and a half to transfer out of there, but I finally managed to go to a new school. If this school was listed as one of the places you want to go I highly advise that you change your mind. Take my word for it.

During the cold winter snowy days, they only let 15 kids in school at a time, causing the students to wait out in the cold, with no regard for them at all. These kids travel to school in the horrible weather and still have to wait in the cold to get it for more than 1/2 hour. The principal don't care, won't come on the phone because he's in a meeting.... they refuse to have an additional door open.. to accommodate the kids. Instead the staff stay inside where it's nice and warm... you would think during they would implement a better plan for the kids during this time of storm/weather but they don't the principle don't care at all!!! Several parents called to complain he doesn't care and never gets on the phone. There are hundreds of kids outside right now and we are furious!!!

this school is a mess ! they only care about uniform. They hire any safety team members off the street without a background check . They send kids home for not having a tie or the right shoes & will have them missing out on education
