Every one who said roxborough animal Hospital is the worst your right I know I used to work there the office way to hot in the summer and the vet smacked my hand once do not go there I repeat do not go there it makes you feel like you in a horror move he is very rude I never seen a more dirty place in my hole life

I called a month ago asking how his services worked if I had an overnight emergency. He informed me that I just had to call and he would be able to help.

I have always trust these people who have such a great experiences at the same location for a long time. I understand some people complain about their cases. I usually recommend this hospital if someone is looking for very reasonable price for their own pet.

We have a dog that has worms and brought in stool sample with worms in it. They asked to do testing and to call back the next day--which we had paid for. The next day they basically refused to administer medication to kill the worms and told us to wait a week. I asked if the worms would hurt her because we previously lost a dog who had worms a week too long and it killed his liver. The vet said, probably not.

A couple weeks later I did have an overnight emergency. I called and he kept telling me he wasn't open. I asked him what I'm supposed to do because my dog was incredibly sick and he told me before he was open 24 hours. He then said 'you'd pay a fee' but only after telling me ten times he was closed and after I pleaded for him to help me crying. After being treated so rudely and finding out he would help me, he just really was avoiding it, I went elsewhere.

I would seriously advise against taking you pet here. Initially I had a very positive experience. I was happy to be serviced on such short notice and the receptionist is a very sweet woman. However, after taking my two cats there for a second time, I soon realized that some of the medication I received from the doctor was expired. Now this was after, the doctor administered my cat`s first set of vaccinations and charged me very highly for it and other medications. He sent me home with eye drops that were two years expired and flea medicine that was also out of date. Luckily, I did not give my cats any of the flea medication, but the eye drops made my cats eyes far worse than before. Both of my cats eyes were swollen and red and puffy and my one cat who previously had no major eye issues, became sick. This was devastating for me because I already spent so much money for medication and vaccinations and it ended up making my cats sicker. When I returned to confront the doctor and return the medication, he was only willing to refund the two items that were expired, which totaled about $80 bucks. Which was only a small fraction of what I had paid him. Because of his negligence my cats ended up worse, or could of suffered from serious complications if I continued to use his expired medicine. Because of this I was hoping to at least be compensated for his mistakes and serious negligence. Although he was apologetic, he did not seem to take the matter very seriously. After that, all of my trust was gone and after I returned the medication, collected his check, I never took my cats there again.

Probably not? Yeah. No thanks. They can keep the money that they basically stole from us but I would never recommend anyone to this place. It shouldn't even be open if they don't want to help animals.

Shouldn't be a vet. Don't know how you're even open still.

He then called me back today because I had left a message first before he had answered and was atrocious towards me. He then says 'you asked for a call back' I said 'No I'm at a vet now' and then promptly hung up on me.
