Love it so far. I try to go early because I need to be able to jump from exercise to exercise without delay, so I've never seen it packed with people. Plenty of equipment, lots of room to work, and a friendly staff. Great value.
the employees are so nice. I signed up right away. I love the atmosphere. However, fitness class are $12 every class which is crazy because it should be included in the membership.
Used a day pass to check it out. Greeted right away with friendly enthusiasm. Impressed with the use of technology… got an ID card with a single try-out day pass. Well equipped with lots of modern machines… love the 30 incline treadmill. Modern design, well laid out & sparkling clean. Group classes offered, & the room looks great, but disappointed that no advance schedule was available at the moment… they say it will be on-line in about a week but for now they’re going day by day with the group schedule sign in sheet. I didn’t expect this place to be as good as it was… very impressed – keep it up!!! (Group classes are important to me so I can wait to see what they're offering before joining... js)
I signed up for a grey membership (a no contract membership) before the grand opening of the gym and before I could go I was involved in a car accident. So I sent a written notice, again before the gym opened up officially, to cancel my membership. A woman named Jesse promised me I wouldn't be charged for the month, but I was charged $21 in total. I called back that next day and no one answers the phone, so I left a voicemail message with all my information, including my contact number explaining the situation and informing them that one of their employees assured me I wouldn't be charged, but I never got a call back. Is it a nice brand new gym with great equipment yes, but from this experience their customer service and billing definitely needs work.
Best gym in Philadelphia! The staff here is so motivational!!! You get greeted with a smile and you can tell they really care about your progress.
