Slowly but surely they are getting better. They used to have some of the most disrespectful people with nasty and foul attitudes! I clearly remember several staff members getting cursed out and threatened for talking to patients so crude. They still have a way to go but they are getting better.
City Health Centers are extremely helpful to the community. They are low-cost clinics - insurance is not needed. These Health Centers offer many services such as Prenatal Care, Family Planning (birth control), Gyn, Pediatrics, Adult Medicine, and Dental. They have their own ON-SITE labs, pharmacies, and xray departments that can be utilized by their patients. If you know someone who is struggling (with or without insurance) to afford medical care - please suggest a city health center. A lot of Philadelphians do not know about their services. Spread the word!
Very helpful Staff been coming here since i was 16.
I took my two children to the doctor's appointment at this Health Center a week and a half ago and I must say the treatment and the customer service or the client service was superb. The social worker Miss Linda was of great help to me and my family as far as well as things that are a benefit to the children and the family as a whole. Thank you very much to Miss Linda and the rest of the staff for all of their hard work and concern for the families that they serve
Went with a friend who didn't have health insurance more than once . Everyone was super nice and the wait was not long at all.
