It's is lots of fun things around like the free Philadelphia library, Franklin institute, natural history and science museum, tgif's and more . This area is very high risk in traffic and a home for the homeless so be very careful.
Of the central Philadelphia public squares, I consider this square as the classy and cultural one. Surrounded by interesting places to visit and provided a great view of Center City and a beautiful view of the Art Museum up Benjamin Franklin Parkway. This parklet, like the others in Center City, was clean and well maintained with plenty of seating. Due to its surroundings, there seems to be a good mix of locals and visitors.
Nice spot to grab lunch. Tons of options--dine in, or take out and have a picnic on a lawn or table. I was in town for a conference. Grabbed a sandwich to avoid lines and explored around here a bit on lunchbreak. Has that Philly-city ambiance and architectural appeal that's worth checking out if you're nearby.
Logan Square is a beautiful park. The fountain , well I just love fountains and Logan square has a very pretty one.
Logan Square is close to the city center. It has a nice big fountain in the center. Every time I went there, it was full of people out enjoying the evening. When it is hot people play in the fountain.
