Kids were trying to jump from one of the roofs at the st Bridget's church in east falls to another. With a huge gap and nothing but cement below them I called the cops for their safety. I was told a police officer would be coming AND NO ONE CAME. If one of these kids fell and died because you decided not to come --
A few confusions and miscommunications at first, but the 5th district was extremely helpful when my husband and I wanted an accident report for a hit-and-run on one of our cars that was parked on the street. Sometimes you just have to give your local police a call (not 911) or drop in, because sometimes things get lost in the shuffle trying to explain things when you’re in a panic on the phone, and they are happy to help. A very kind and friendly policeman in front of us in line secretly paid for my and my 3 year old grandson's ice cream cones at Valley Green/Wissahickon Trail yesterday, and drove away before I could get his name or thank him. To that sweet police officer, thank you very much. I was moved by your generosity and my grandson is still excited by the interaction with you in line.
