Didn't think Mayfair had a decent bar, but this place proved me wrong! Fishtown vibe in the Northeast. Excellent craft beers on tap daily, and a modest yet well-selected whiskey menu. Simple eats (I had a burrito), and they also have local art on display to sell. 2 floors by the way, each with their own bars.
A craft beer bar gem surprisingly found in the heart of Mayfair. If you enjoy good beer this is a bar you should be stopping at. It has that dive bar feel, but in a good way. They have great bar food. Personally, I usually go with the lodge steak. The inside has some interesting art work on the walls. The tile beer quote wall in the men's bathroom is a must see/read. There are frequent beer related events. Firkin the 13th and ground hog day are events craft beer lovers should not miss. The selection of beer is massive and the taps are frequently rotated.
Great place I highly recommend it. The decor will keep you busy for awhile just checking out the tile work by Scoats. Food is superb and great selection of beer.
