The food was also amazing! Started perfectly with the oyster sampler. The belly clams are my favorite + I order then whenever they're on a menu but these are you best I've had. The lobster is full of plump delicious lobster, not offer cooked + chewy nor did they try to fill it with not so good parts.
The BEST! This is not a "broiled or fried" seafood place with jacked-up prices. The sauce on the pan-fried flounder was uniquely amazing, the spicy tomato broth of the Fisherman's Stew was superb and the Barnegat Bay oysters from the raw bar were unbelievably fresh. On a very busy Saturday night, the service was friendly and efficient. Only drawback...skip the weak martinis and order wine or beer instead. Also, they don't take reservations for parties of less than 6. The wait was 45 minutes at 8:00 pm, but well worth it.
This place is crazy busy! However the staff is on point from the hostess who some how managed to be kind, calm + helpful amidst the chaos to the servers + bussers who were always available when we needed something. So don't be discouraged by the wait or chaos, you'll have a great experience.
First visit and definitely not the the last. I loved the atmosphere and the menu selections. We had for lunch Shrimp cocktails, New England Clam Chowder soup and Oysters with fries. All was exceptionally delicious. The portion size was perfect and the price is very reasonable. The service was excellent and fast. See you soon.
Outstanding in every way. The food was delicious, especially the to-die-for BBQ oysters. Danielle is a wonderful and welcoming manager who took excellent care to be sure we were properly seated and happy with our dining experience. Emilia’s table service was warm and gracious. The beautful design and flow of the room are light and airy. We loved it and cannot wait to return!
This is an absolute 5 star oyster house. Everything we ordered is fresh tasty and exquisite! Happy hour is completely crazy packed but still awesome! Two thumbs way up!
