Need more interesting and informative exhibits. Lots of blank space. Better space utilization necessary. Poor traffic flow within museum. Very disappointed.
For me,not enough of black art. When playing the portrayal of the black stories(characters) it's very hard to here, when another one is playing. The top floor was closed. They want 14.00 dollars. 2.00 dollars with your access card which is great. Most time you will spend in there close to an hour. It's very hard to read in the dark.Where they have some of the stories about how things were. Who what and were. It was ok.
The event I attended was beautiful at the Museum, I have not been there in years and especially since their remodel. Everything is beautiful and well kept, with a varied amount of information that will be enjoyed by everyone.
Great, educational, informative! Wish many many more adults and youths Pay Strict attention and use this to Improve and Not
And FYI there is free admission for bank of America customers on every first weekend of the month.
This place reminds us of the progress we have made and the undeniable contributions of the black to the great nation USA. If you do not know your worth as black person or if someone makes you feel you are Notting please visit the African American Museum. It is such a beautiful place of encouragement and education. Take your children to the place. It is also a nice place to take pictures with images of great black heroes.
