Had the gator sandwich. Was good. It tasted pretty much like most sausage and pepper sandwiches. The blackened chicken looked really good too. My girlfriend had the chicken wings and loved them. Lost of good spices choices here; gumbo, jambalaya and more. To top it off, the staff was helpful and very nice. Good guys there.
Terrible service....I work at the train station me and my coworkers eat here often I order a wing platter and extra side everything came to 15.90...when I was given my platter I looked in side and saw that I did not have the little cup. I asked can I please get a cup blue cheese for my wings. The guy said oh it's 50 cents more I laughed and said since when. He was serious I said ok can I talk to your manager and she said very rude it's 50 cents. I said Ms I just spent 15.90 with no drink I can't get a little cup of blue cheese with my wing platter that I just order she said no. I went back to work and told me coworkers and me and my coworkers will NEVER eat there again. My other coworker said he stopped going there because of rude service when he asked one of the to make his food again because the lady sneezed over his food whole preparing it...STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE too expensive and RUDE SERVICE
They have good food but customer service sucks.... first of all if you're going to have ready made salads ...then they should be ready.! especially at 12noon (prime lunch time) not only did they not have any salads ready but I had to wait almost 30min for them to make it (it's lettuce, cucumber tomatoes and salmon). They seem very unorganized...always getting orders wrong .... and the attitude of the people is not that friendly. ..... my lunch break is over and I have no lunch because they aren't adequately prepared for the lunch rush in 30th Street station mind you..... like what idiot is running that place. ...and the food is good but the stress of trying to attain food from there is too much to deal with.... the food ain't that good ..
Bread pudding with whisky sauce. OMG so good. I stopped by because I needed lunch for a five hour train ride. So at like 9:30 the food was out and looked fresh and good like a family style potluck. I chose the jumbalaya rice with shrimp etoufee. I told the staff that I was getting on a train and they wrapped it up real good with Saran Wrap and foil. No spills when I opened it on the train. And soooo nice to have homemade comfort food that’s really really good as you whisk past the scenery on the train. The rice was perfect, flavorful with a nice peppery kick. The etoufee was delicious, not too salty, healthy chunks of okra, corn and shrimp. Seriously if your getting on a long train ride, it doesn’t get any better.
Spicy shrimp gumbo($9) was delicious and felt like being in New Orleans. I need to come back for a beignet during breakfast to see how it stacks up!
