Location is great. It needs some sound proofing. Seems like your standing in the middle of the highway, which is nearly true.
Nestled in between the North and South bound lanes of I-95, Spring Garden Station is a really great spot. The vehicles speeding by make it really difficult to listen to podcasts while you're waiting for the train. But let's not forget about just how WINDY it is! You can tell Septa went the extra mile to protect their riders from the elements.
Not a bad station really.
Worst part of this station is the public peeing in the exit area near the turnstiles. It stinks and is unhealthy.
But the absolute best part is the smell: it is an olfactory experience not to be missed. Particularly in the northern stairs, there is a very strong smell of urine. If you're a regular like me (I'm there almost every day), sometimes you get lucky and it'll have extra peaty notes to it; most likely from bums eating a meal of asparagus.
(For real though: I really do like that they fixed the lights on the street level.)
It's a Great station actually.
Area not clean or has a seating place for Rider especially for seniors Rider.
