Small menu but its worth it for the amazing quality. I recommend the the barbarian burger on the himilayain salt block. The ingredients are bought fresh every day. The atmosphere/decorations are really cool. Only complaint is that the service was a little slow when we first got there but it was nearly empty so it makes sense. Definitely recommend.

Overall, this is an amazing place. I had a reservation for 20 with some special requests. Staff was amazing, food was amazing, service was amazing. Why 3 stars? My niece had gone here a week before my adventure and warned me that a "service fee" was in the middle of her check. Luckily she let me know as it was in both checks (we had one for each table). Right in the middle of two entrees on both of the checks. I still tipped well (factoring the "service fees"). However, that seems shady. Gratuity on a party of 6 or more; understandable. Trying to hide it in the within the list of entrees so there is a chance people miss it; unacceptable.

Where do we begin? We chose Mad Rex because it's next to the Fillimore, which is featuring Fantasia this evening. From the moment we came through the doors, David ~Kathy~Theresa and Antonio made our visit top notch. The lava rock salmon... SCRUMPTIOUS. The Sea Salt bowl for the ice cream...DANG! if you've never had it, it's worth the visit just for that! Thank you for celebrating my birthday with me!!!!

Fantastic place, especially because I love the post apocalyptic vibe (Fallout). If you come here and don’t try the Survivor Menu, then you are a fool that deserves to be locked into a Vault. The meat is fresh and flavorful, everyone is friendly and the prices are in line with the quality of the food and service. Two personal notes: the bar stools are way too close to the ground, and the chicken wings are the whole chicken leg (which I do not like, but my girl loves).

Most of our table ordered from the survivor menu which made for a really fun dining experience. The survivor burger cooking on the salt block was one of the best burgers I’ve ever had. Garlic mashed potatoes were spot on too. I also tried my husbands NY strip and it was high quality and flavorful. Our server John was phenomenal, informative and quick. All in all great experience and a perfect pick if you want a more exciting dinner experience.
