Stayed here for three nights while attending a friend's wedding. I really wanted to like this place but several things turned me off. First the good things. Staff was mostly friendly. Everything seemed somewhat updated. Everything was clean. The bed was comfortable. The breakfast buffet at the restaurant downstairs was excellent for the price. Now the not so good. Our refrigerator didn't work very well and the cabinet door which opened to it broke off after the second time we used it. We had to call for a crib twice because 30 minutes after the first request we still didn't get it. Similar scenario when we asked for extra towels. It took two calls. Our bathroom sink was clogged terribly (I will say that the service people did fix this and responded pretty quickly). House services came extremely late. I think it was around 4 on our first day. When she finally did make it, she barely did anything. Made the bed and got us some new towels. Didn't even vacuum. One of the two main elevators broke down on the day we left. It was a Sunday so lots of people were leaving. I think we partially got unlucky with this stay. Despite our dissatisfaction, I would still recommend it. Just keep an eye out for the things I've pointed out.
Rooms are nice but the valet and bellhops are rude and too aggressive for my tastes. Be prepared to have your bags taken regardless of whether you need help. The hotel feels like one big hustle upon arrival. Restaurant buffet is great for breakfast but the value stops there.
Room wasn’t ready until 4:30 pm on night one. We had reserved a king bed and they confirmed it when we checked in but our room had two smaller beds instead. The room is still not clean the next day and it’s already 3.30 pm. Manager on duty was very nice but we “ain’t” paying $80/ night. They need to hire more people.
I stayed here for a business trip, 2 nights. The valets were nice and good, the front desk managers were extremely nice and accommodating, and the rooms were well equipped and very nice. My only complaint was that the bed had 1 sheet and 1 thin blanket, so I was colder than usual sleeping but not terribly uncomfortable. The showers were also interesting - no curtains or sliding door, so some of the shower is just open so it was tough to build up any steam in the shower or keep the floor dry.
They do not have parking available. If you are interested in parking your vehicle, you would have to pay. There is refrigerator or microwave to store or warm up your food. The showers do not have any glass sliding door to contain the water from splashing all over the bathroom floor. No busboy service was available after 10pm at night, so we had to carry all of our bags to and from our room.
