Maybe it was a busy day and I just chose the wrong day to go or maybe it was just that one day the clinic was hosted by incompetent staff. Or both. I think it's both.

The desk is working, but the nurse staff is not. Let patient wait long time and then say too late and come back tomorrow even they is bad case. Discrimination

City Health Centers are extremely helpful to the community. They are low-cost clinics - insurance is not needed. These Health Centers offer many services such as Prenatal Care, Family Planning (birth control), Gyn, Pediatrics, Adult Medicine, and Dental. They have their own ON-SITE labs, pharmacies, and xray departments that can be utilized by their patients. If you know someone who is struggling (with or without insurance) to afford medical care - please suggest a city health center. A lot of Philadelphians do not know about their services. Spread the word!

I took my sons here for physicals. I was happily surprised at the service. The staff was very friendly and great with my kids. I was very satisfied with the staff here. I recommend coming here.

I understand that this is a government-operated clinic and is designed for people who can't afford expensive healthcare. I still think it should be noted the phrase "You get what you paid for" is still accurate, so if you're looking for cheap healthcare and think of Health Center 3, you better be willing to stomach some inconveniences too.

I digress. I presented before 10 AM waited about 20-30 minutes, was asked to bring proof of residency, brought it by 10:40 AM, and now it is 11:50 AM and the waiting list was literally the same as the hour before. The staff was apparently tending to other patients who weren't even on the waiting list for about an hour.

I'm a P4 Pharmacy Student and I knew exactly what problem I had and knew what I needed; all I needed was a doctor to take a look at my throat, confirm that I did have strep throat and write up a prescription because the US is the only country in the world absolutely paranoid about "antibiotic resistance" even in healthy 23 year olds like me and refuse to sell a PHARMACY GRAD STUDENT antibiotics for his own personal use. Logic.

Always see my doctor on time. If you come without appointment the staff will take and take care of your need. Thanks guys keep up on doing great job.

I now realize I could've literally just gone to clinics such as CVS Minute Clinic (which is notorious for making you wait, apparently. Go figure) and gotten everything done and my antibiotic filled in less half the time it took me to do all this. What's worse I still have my strep throat and now I'll have to make an appointment plus spend more time there.
