I visit the hospital because of my sister who has been sick and she needed emergency care. We got there the same time the ambulance did, first we were great by the security guards with kindness and respect, they explained the process with patience, we did as they informed us, within in hour we were direct to the room my sister was in. My sister was cared for by a wonderful nurse, Tina. She was very respectful toward our concern and answered our question and when she didn't know the answer she would find it. Tina thank you so much for making this dreadful moment easier and for truly caring not only for sister but for us. I know and seen how crazy busy Episcopal is, with caring for all kinds of needs from all type of ppl but ur professionalism is outstanding, thank you again. Oh ur hospitality also is great, I did not get his name, but he came into the room and offered us juice, water of which I was truly grateful and surprise, but thank you Sir, Carmen Diaz
That what i would rate this hospital...
I went over for gall stones pains... they sent me back home with no meds .. they didn't even treat me with anything over there . .. they gaved me a ultrasound.. seen I had big rocks and still sent me home with no pain meds .. once I went home I had pains all day .. til 4am the next day I couldn't take it anymore . . My chest felt like it was burning .. so I went back to the er but I went to jeanes Hospital... they admitted me right away after seeing the big rocks and small rocks I had .. they even said I wasn't suppose to get sent home.. the burning I was feeling was liquids coming out of my gall bladder ... if i never went back anything couldve happen ... I felt like it was neglects on y'all part... I don't recommend anyone to go to this hospital... they seen it as.. since I don't have pain .. send me back home... but as a doctor .. u should know that these pains come and go .. gallbladder pain can last for hours and go away and come back in mins ... just cause the pain went away doesn't means my stones did also... if I could give u no stars .
The only reason I give it even 1 star is because the Doctors were so nice. Besides that though, it was so disgustingly dirty! The bathroom looked like it hadn't been cleaned in months, and the nurse Sean was so ignorant and mean! He messed up putting the iv in and tried blaming my gf!!! We were so nice and he just couldn't help himself from being so ignorant acting!!! We will never go to this hospital again, unless I'm dying and have no choice to go here!!!
Was taken here and it was absolutely horrible. This experience has scarred me for life. I hope never to be taken here again. Absolutely dirty, dehumanizing, and scary. As soon as you walked in, people were screaming everywhere. Worst hospital I have ever seen or been in. Treatment by staff is also horrible; they treat you like a lowlife criminal that just needs to shut up. I was kept here for hours and did not even get to speak to people really concerning my situation. If you are considering this hospital, I strongly encourage you to go somewhere else.
Filthy, dirty place. It is definitely one of those hospitals that is Medicaid dependent. Only go there if there are no other options.
